Pastoral Care
We offer confidential spiritual counseling whatever your need might be: illness, strained relationships, family crisis, or the death of a loved one. Pastoral care takes many forms at St. John’s. Clergy make hospital and home visits and meet with parishioners for pastoral counseling. For pastoral care, please contact our Church Administrator at 415.456.1102, x102.
C.A.R.E.S. Committee
Our CARES Committee consists of Lay Eucharistic Visitors, who bring communion to those unable to join us on Sunday morning; and lay caregivers, who are trained to offer caring, confidential listening th those who are going through something difficult. The members of the Care Committee remind us that caring for one another is not just the work of the clergy, but the ministry of every Christian.
