Altar Guild & Flower Requests

If you would like to donate flowers for the altar on Sunday mornings in honor of a loved one or a celebration, please contact Katie Erickson via email at Katiesemail2001@yahoo.com or phone 415-461-6374.

St. John's has a wonderful tradition of reusing and redistributing the altar flowers. Volunteers, or "Flower Angels," make bouquets and deliver them to predetermined parishioners. You may be helping someone celebrate a 90th birthday or the birth of a child, or may be comforting someone in sickness or mourning.

To be an "Angel" takes about 1 to 1-1/2 hours and you can volunteer once a year or once a month, at your convenience. It's a great project to do with a son or daughter or with a friend. It's a simple way to make a difference and help us to connect with each other.
