Groups at St. John's

MEN'S GROUP
The St. John's Men's Group is a 25-year-plus feature at St. John's, meeting twice a month on Saturday morning; for breakfast, discussion, and guest speakers. Meetings start with a short communion service in the chapel at 7:00 am, followed by breakfast in the Fireside Room with time to share and listen, and a guest speaker or program once per month. We conclude at 9:00am sharp!

If you would like to joins us, contact the Parish coordinator/Mens Group for more information (info@stjohnsross.org) or go to our Group Finder in Fellowship One.

(Note: If you are preparing breakfast for a mens group meeting here is the shopping list.)

WOMEN'S GROUP
To help build further fellowship and community among the ladies of St. John’s, this group gathers on an ad hoc basis about once a month at a variety of homes and locations. Simple and varied social gatherings provide the opportunity for the ladies of St. John’s to relax together and learn love one another as God loves us. Through these fun gatherings this group finds common interests, paths and understandings and explore faith through community. All ladies of the parish are welcome and encouraged to participate. If you would like to know more please contact info@stjohnsross.org.

COUPLES GROUP
St John’s invites all couples in committed relationships to be part of a monthly gathering that will include dinner and conversation centered around the holy vocation of sharing your life with a partner. Join Fr Chris and his wife Amy, and Fr Steve and his wife Clancy, as we draw on experience, popular media, and spiritual wisdom from our tradition to help enrich our understanding of coupledom. Please contact Fr Steve or Fr Chris to for information about the date, time, and location of the next gathering.

DINNER GROUPS
Dinner groups form throughout the year. Watch for annual signups to be placed into a group of six to eight people who get together once a month for a casual meal and fellowship.

Typically you rotate monthly from one group member's home to another until each home has hosted a dinner. However, once formed, each group can do what they like. The meals are usually simple and potluck. Scheduling is also left to each group to decide.

We'll designate a temporary leader to get you started. If space is an issue a picnic meal at a local park or beach is a great alternative.

All are invited (singles, couples, families, oldies and newbies!)

This is a terrific way to meet new people and get to know some of those you sit with every Sunday. Questions? Call Margaret Harter 924-4571.
