Eucharist is offered at every service at St. John's.
Every Sunday:
8:00 a.m. - This service follows the Book of Common Prayer, using either Rite 1 or Rite 2. The service includes organ music the first Sunday of every month, and generally runs about 50 minutes.
9:00 a.m. - Join us for a new kind of church: an intergenerational service of singing, prayer, storytelling and communion. This all-ages gathering depends on your participation to make it holy. We welcome the presence of wiggly babies, waddlers, toddlers, youn-'uns, and the grown-ups who love them. Every Sunday in the Parish Hall.
10:00 a.m. - Rooted in the rich traditions of Episcopal liturgy, this "full" service includes organ music, adult (and occasional childrens') choir, and a full range of hymns. The service runs about one hour and fifteen minutes. Sunday School takes place during the 10 am service. Nursery care is available for our youngest parishioners. Sunday School children join the congregation for Communion, allowing us to celebrate this rite together as one community.
Every Tuesday
Noon - This weekly service is celebrated in the Chapel and includes the Eucharist, laying on of hands and healing prayers. On the Second Tuesday of the month, this service is followed by a light luncheon and short program.
Nursery Care
During the 10am Sunday services, we offer nursery care for children ages 4 and younger. Paid staff caregivers and parent volunteers help provide a welcoming and loving environment for your children while you worship. Parents have the option of having their children brought into the church for Communion.
Sunday School
For children in Kindergarten through Grade 6, we offer a rich and nurturing program of Christian formation every Sunday morning beginning at 10am [see Sunday School].
Middle and High schoolers have their own program [see Youth Groups].
