and Family Ministry

Children's Spiritual Formation

The aim of St. John's children's education program is to nurture the faith formation of every child.

To fulfill that goal, we at St. John's strive to:

• Treasure each child as a gift from God
• Inspire children with the story of God’s love
• Embrace questions
• Support families in the spiritual nurture of children
• Include children in the life of the Church

The safety of children at St. John's is paramount to us. So all clergy, staff, and volunteers who work with children at St. John's have participated in a program called Safeguarding God’s Children, which sets standards of behavior pertaining to the physical and emotional safety of children and youth.

Nursery and Sunday School Info

Nursery--On Sunday mornings, at the 10 a.m. service only, nursery care is available for infants and toddlers through age 4. The nursery is professionally staffed and dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment.

Sunday School--Again, at the 10 a.m. service only, we offer church school for children pre-K through 8th grade.

All children join their parents in church for Eucharist and the final part of the service. For more detailed information, please see:
