Holly Posner

Sunday School Coordinator

Holly started working in the Nursery at St. John’s in September 2005. She took on the new role of Sunday School Coordinator in August 2006 and works closely with the Family Ministry team. Holly is a welcoming presence in the Nursery and Sunday school. She recruits and prepares volunteers to teach the Godly Play classes and in the Nursery. She provides regular communication to all the volunteers and ensures that all classes are properly staffed. Holly completed her Godly Play accreditation certification in October 2006.

Holly believes St. John’s should be an oasis for children and a place to which they look forward to coming, a place for discovery, and a place where they can learn and be themselves.

Holly loves working with children. Her background is in early childhood education and she plans to obtain her elementary school teaching credential in the near future. Her earlier careers were in advertising and merchandising. She loves spending time outdoors with her husband and young daughter.
