Confirmation

Confirmation has famously been called "a rite wandering through history in search of a meaning," and its role in the life of the church has waxed and waned with the passing generations. Currently, it is experiencing a period of fertile reevaluation.

The leadership of St John's is emphasizing spiritual formation and community for young people.

We are happy to accept requests for Confirmation, and look forward to a time when we can offer this as a regular feature of our youth ministry. In the meantime, we are concentrating on developing a healthy spirituality for our community -- young and old alike.
